Unlock a new era of investing with Interactive Brokers’ advanced AI-powered stock screener, designed to make searching for opportunities seamless and intuitive. The investor can say goodbye to complicated filters and endless dropdown menus, they simply describe what they’re looking for in plain language, and our intelligent system works to optimize the search. The AI evaluates the investor’s prompt and delivers the results for their specific searches.
The AI configured screener can be accessed in the IBKR Desktop. First by clicking on Screeners in the left side of the screen and then clicking on the purple box, “Configure Screener with AI” in the upper left corner of the screen.
On the right-hand side of the screen a dialogue box will appear in which the investor can type in natural language what they are looking for. Depending on the prompt, the large language model, or LLM, will intelligently choose a multisort or standard screener.
Let’s go through a few examples:
The investor types “Pharmaceutical stocks with a net profit margin greater than 10% and an EPS growth greater than 15%”
The AI powered screener will process the request and through three easy-to-read prompts that update progress and criteria as the scanner is being created:
And then will let the investor know once the scanner is complete.
The investor can continue to modify the search by clicking on “Modify Prompt”, in this case updating the EPS growth number to 10%, they then click on “Regenerate Screener”
The investor can also specify if they want to create multisort screener using the AI powered screener prompt. For example, the investor types in “for large cap tech stocks showing 3 month moves and dividend increases over the past 3 years”.

Is this available in TWS? If not, any plans to add it to TWS in the near future? (I trade using TWS and it would greatly simplify my workflow if I don’t have to switch to desktop just to use the scanner)
Nice can’t say too much yet, I’m just getting started using this application. But nice so far, I still have yet to see the proformance of what this program can do
