4,800 Earnings Expiration Puts Trade in ACM Research, Inc. (Symbol: ACMR)

This morning 4,800 November 21 ’25 15 puts traded in ACM Research, Inc. (Symbol: ACMR). ACMR released preliminary unaudited revenue and shipments this morning and is trading down 13%. ACMR will release full financial results in its call on May 8th.

The investor sold the puts at $2.10 while the stock was trading for $17.87 at the time the options traded. The puts are a 25 delta, so the trade is the equivalent of 120,000 shares of stock. AMCR is scheduled to release earnings in early November so the investor may be speculating that the stock will stay above $15 prior to the November expiration and that todays move will be close to the low of the stock price over the next 200 days.

AMCR has rebounded slightly from the time of the trade and is currently trading at $18.33. AMCR has a 52-week high of $30.64 and a 52-week low of $13.87.
