I am using Trader Workstation on Linux via the installer provided from IBKR. If you click “Login” there will be a dropdown, select Trader Workstation, click “Try Now”. It will redirect you to the page to download the installer .sh file. Then follow instructions to install it. It worked for me, on Debian based distro.
Is the TWS software and the TWS API software works in AWS EC2 instance which is a Ubuntu Linux environment ??

Can I have more than one window open at one time? I have several custom templates in tabs, but would like them to pop out to form a separate window. Is that possible?
Thank you for asking. Yes, it is possible to have multiple windows open at the same time in TWS Mosaic. You can open additional windows and customize your layout in several ways:
To open multiple Order Entry windows:
Unlock the layout for editing by clicking the “lock” icon on the Anchor Window.
Disable the window group by selecting “No Group” on the Anchor Window.
Change the window group color on the first Order Entry.
Open another Order Entry from the New Window menu and select a different window group color.
To add another BookTrader window:
Click the chain link icon in the upper-right corner of the anchor bar to un-group it.
Select “No Group”.
Click the New Window button in the top-left of Mosaic and select BookTrader.
To create linked groups of windows:
Click the Group windows “chain link” icon in the top right of a window’s title bar.
Select a group number/color for the windows you want to link.
Repeat for other windows you want in the same group.
These methods allow you to have multiple windows open simultaneously and customize your layout according to your preferences.

Hello, thank you for reaching out. The US Stock options that stop trading at the end of the regular trading day on the 3rd Friday of the month (considered Monthly option) are settled using the Composite Close (CC) price calculated around 16:00 EST. An option is expired after the OCC completes it’s processing. The standard expiration date for US Stock options is the Saturday immediately following the 3rd Friday of the month.
The positions in your account are later updated by IBKR accordingly. Expired options are removed from the account over the weekend. You can see the closing expiration transactions in your Trade Confirmation Report the next day and later in your Activity Statement.
