This morning 3,240 Westlake Corporation (Symbol: WLK) July 19 ’24 145 puts traded for $1.83. This was an opening trade as there were less than 25 contracts of open interest in the 145 strike this morning. The puts are a 33 delta, so the trade is the equivalent of 106,920 share of stock.  At the time of the trade WLK was trading at $155.12.

It looks like the trader sold the puts and they may be looking to make extra income from the premium and potentially take a long stock position at a cost basis of $185 if WLK drops to that level by expiration.

WLK is currently trading at $149.16. WLK has a 52-week high of $162.53 and a 52-week low of $106.34.
