Hello Jeff , is there a way to :
    – learn how to read those contracts ( NBBO ) .
    – how to spot contract transactions linked to a common position ?

Hello, thank you for reaching out. The National Best Bid and Offer can be viewed after logging into TWS using these steps: Open Information Tools> Time & Sales> Settings. Then, you can configure the Bid/Ask to be shown. You can spot a transaction linked to another transaction by looking at open interest in the option chain. If the open interest is less than the trade amount it is an opening trade. If not, you would not know until the end of the next day when the open interest is updated. This number can be added to the option chain and shows whether there are any outstanding positions.

      We hope this helps!
