I’m ‘test-driving’ IBKR’s site and services in order to decide on whether to open an account for my futures/options trading. Is this type of “options watch” information provided regularly? And do account holders have access to more detail on this type of information, for example, whether the option activity was ‘buy’ or ‘sell’ of the respective strikes??

Hello, thank you for asking. Traders’ Insight provides weekly market-related articles and commentary featuring posts from IBKR employees, exchanges, and third-party contributors.

Account holders can view this information in our flagship platform, Trader WorkStation. In our Advanced Market Scanner, you can use the “Hot by Opt Volume” parameter to filter for orders with large percentage changes, then search in our Option Chain to see which strike had the volume. Finally, you can use the Time and Sales to see the actual trade(s).
