Prediction markets see 20% and 45% chances of gold and silver exceeding $4,250 and $62 per oz. by Oct. 30. Both precious metals are appreciating strongly today and trading at $4,160 and $61.26, as a weaker greenback amidst increasingly dovish expectations for central bank tightening propel the commodities. The move is being motivated to a great degree by Middle East oil exports recovering to pre-war levels, which is reducing cost pressure projections and driving engagement in non-interest yielding opportunities. Looking at different thresholds, meanwhile, the “Yeses” at $4,200, $4,150, $66, $60, $58 and $56 are going for $0.60, $0.62, $0.27, $0.66, $0.78 and $0.89. These instruments have some of the most abundant liquidity possibilities throughout Interactive Brokers Prediction Markets, as expanding market-maker attendance is conducive to tighter relative spreads across “Yeses” and “Nos,” which generally grant investors a stronger likelihood of executing sizeable trades at the price they want.
