The chance of Bitcoin exceeding 100k this year traded as high as 36% today following the cryptocurrency jumping to its loftiest level in eight months this morning. It soared to 86.3k to start the week, after falling below 75k last Wednesday subsequent to the Clarity Act failing to clear a key procedural barrier in the Senate a few days ago. But the CFTC and SEC responded by supporting digital asset adoption via the advancement of rules deemed essential for the industry’s legal framework. The actions supported a fierce rebound in the space, as investors realized that they may not need bipartisan cooperation in Congress to further legitimatize the modern financial instruments. As a result, bullish shifts have materialized in the Interactive Brokers Prediction Markets, with the odds of BTC reaching a price of over 110k, 120k, 130k and 140k in 2026 currently at 22%, 16%, 10% and 9%.
