Non-fungible token (NFT)

Trading Term

A Non-Fungible Token, or NFT, represents a uniquely identifiable unit of digital data such as audio, video, photo, and other image files, whose record of ownership is stored on a blockchain and can be bought, sold, and traded. Unlike fungible tokens, each NFT has distinct metadata and cannot be exchanged one-for-one. NFTs are commonly used for digital art, collectibles, and tokenized intellectual property.
