Hello, I wanted to trade E-mini S&P500. However, the IB Desktop only shows ES Jun20’25 but costs USD270K. There should be one at USD24k initial margin. What ticker should I put in please?

Then, you can click More/ Multiple to view all the contracts and contract months we have available for this product. Its frustrating that IBKR makes a product (Desktop) and when we can’t find an instrument we are always directed to TWS that looks like its from the 90’s. Where is on desktop not TWS?

There is a minimum required deposit of 2,000 USD (or equivalent) for Margin accounts. There is no minimum required deposit to open a Cash Account at Interactive Brokers for most entities.
