This morning 3,500 MasTec, Inc. (Symbol: MTZ) June 21 ’24 110 calls traded for $2.70. The calls are a 58 delta, so the trade is the equivalent of 203,000 shares of stock. At the time of the trade MTZ was trading at $110.80. The open interest at the time of the trade was 3,900 contracts so this may have been a trader closing out their position with 9 days left to expiration or possibly trying to take advantage of a short-term bullish move but that can’t be verified until the next trading day when open interest is updated.

MTZ is currently trading at $111.48. MTZ has a 52-week high of $123.27 and a 52-week low of $44.68.

Hello Joel, thank you for asking. You can use the Advanced Market Scanner in TWS, and filter by the “Hot By Opt Volume” parameter to look for large percentage changes. You can search the option chain to see what strike had the volume, and Time and Sales to view the actual trade(s). We hope this answers your question!
