Instead, Interactive Broker’s clients can now connect directly to Claude AI and ChatGPT through a certified connector—and be up and running in minutes.
Here’s how it works.
The integration is built directly into Claude’s and ChatGPT’s certified connector marketplace.

That’s it. There’s no need to generate API keys, install software, or fund a separate account. The entire setup is designed to be fast and familiar—more like linking a financial app than building a trading system.
Once connected, Claude and ChatGPT can securely access your Interactive Broker’s account data through the same infrastructure behind IBKR’s APIs—but without exposing your credentials.
In practice, that means you can ask questions like:

I want auto trading setup when my indicator SuperTrend says to buy, my account will buy and when SuperTrend says to sell, it sells. Also it should be within time frame and stop loss and profit take limit.

Kalpesh, if you can define EXACTLY how your supertrend works such as what indicators ( EMA/ SMA/ RSI/VOL ) etc. combination is for buy and sell and what is your SL target and TP, I believe I can make it.

Extremely dangerous. Something extremely difficult and very much experience demanding like trading and investing is presented as simple…by AI.
I am placing orders this way. I built with Claude a Python / Django application (I must say I don’t know Python). And there, I can automate anything
I use Gemini Pro, so I also would like Gemini integration as well.

You say ‘Click on the Customize icon in Claude Click on “Connect your apps” … I have looked everywhere I can, where the blank is the ‘customize icon’ in claude ??? Or give us a link. Don’t just make that statement and not tell us how to find it or where it is.

IBKR will only connect to one AI at the time???. So it is either Claude or Chatgtp
I built my AI advisor with copilot and it tells me how to balance what to trim or buy. I also ask entry prices and so on. I have to update my portfolio manually using Excel. The connector is an excellent feature. I hope Copilot is included soon.

I used to ask for advice to AI for risk assessment or to buy protection for some of my Volatile stocks, calculate beta etc. But I had to type in all my stocks.This will be so much easier now that I can connect my portfolio directly to AI!
