The opportunity in global equities is becoming clearer by the day.
After a long stretch of underperformance and being ignored by investors, markets outside the U.S. are starting to look attractive again — even if the consensus isn’t there yet.
This shift is showing up in the flow of capital.
Money has been rotating into Emerging Markets, some of the riskiest regions in the world. And when investors are willing to move into these areas, it tells you something important about risk appetite and leadership for the next cycle.
Within that universe, Latin America is beginning to stand out. And Brazil in particular is separating itself from the pack.
Brazil’s equity market reflects its resource-driven economy. Materials, Energy, and Financials are doing the heavy lifting. But beneath the surface there’s also a growing group of fintech and speculative tech names quietly gaining traction.
It’s a far more diversified opportunity set than most investors realize.
One chart helps explain why this matters. The MSCI Brazil ETF — $EWZ.
It’s now breaking out above a 15+ year downtrend line.

I’m not usually a trendline guy. But when you’re talking about a level that has defined the direction of price for more than a decade, and price is pushing through it with expanding participation, that’s not something you ignore.
On a relative basis, the setup looks just as constructive.
Brazil has reclaimed a major support zone versus international stocks — the same area that marked the 2016 and 2022 lows.

That’s a well-defined level where leadership changes tend to begin.
When former laggards start resolving higher on both an absolute and relative basis, it’s not just a country story. It’s evidence of a broader shift in where investors are willing to allocate capital.
And that’s the real takeaway.
This isn’t about one ETF. It’s about identifying where new leadership is emerging while everyone is still focused on the old leaders.
When you define the level, the process becomes simple.
Respect the breakout and position accordingly.
This isn’t about predicting headlines or chasing narratives.
It’s about recognizing when the market is quietly signaling a major shift in leadership — and knowing how to act on it.
