Tomorrow’s June Hong Kong Consumer Price Index “Yeses” at 1.8% and 2.1% are significantly undervalued in my opinion at just $0.63 and $0.03, considering that the median estimate is at 2.2%. May’s result came in at 2% and of the 7 forecasters surveyed in the monthly Reuters poll, none see a deceleration to 1.9% or under. Indeed, the range of projections span from 2% up to 2.3%, and numbers in that vicinity or loftier would deliver strong returns to investors of the pair of aforementioned contracts. The first profits on a statistic of 1.9% or over, while the second grants $1.00 back to participants, around a 33x payout, on a number of 2.2% or higher.
