There’s a number on every earnings report that almost nobody reads.
And when it comes in low, most investors take it as bad news and move on.
Steve Strazza does the opposite.
A low reading means the market punished that company. Gave up on it. Walked away.
That’s when he starts buying.
Sounds backwards. Here’s what it looked like the last time it showed up ugly.
Early 2023. A stock down 88% from its highs, sitting around $6, and sentiment could not have been worse.
That was Palantir.
It went to roughly $150.
If you got in anywhere near $15, you were up about 10x in thirty months. That’s the common stock alone, before anything the options did on the way up.
Now look at what happened last night.
Alphabet reported. Revenue up 24%. Cloud revenue up 82%. A beat by almost any measure you want to use.
The stock is down 6% today.
The headline said beat. The reaction said something completely different, and the reaction is the part that pays.
That money didn’t leave the market. It went looking for a new home.
That setup doesn’t come around often. When it does, it’s worth dropping what you’re doing.
It just showed up again.
Not on the mega banks. Everyone can see those, they’re on the front page and they already reported. The sector average is lying to you. Underneath it, some financial names have been left for dead and a small number are quietly turning.
Steve is showing which ones today, thirty minutes after the close, with the day’s tape in front of him.
The last time this setup ran in that same corner of the market, it produced Coinbase up 430% in 14 days, Riot up 374%, and Bitdeer up 272% in eight days.
He’s positioning ahead of the next round of financial earnings. A plan you can act on at tomorrow’s open is worth something. The same plan on Monday isn’t.
Today, 4:30 PM ET. Thirty minutes after the bell. Free.
