Jay Soloff

Jay is a seasoned options trading expert with over 20 years of experience. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds two master’s degrees from Arizona State University, an MBA and a Master of Science in Information Management. His trading journey began over two decades ago in the Wheat Futures pit at the Kansas City Board of Trade. He then became a professional options market maker on the floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). While at the CBOE Jay helped make markets in a number of leading technology companies including Amazon. Jay also served as a senior analyst at a hedge fund, where he collaborated with multiple options trading teams using advanced, cutting-edge strategies. Today, Jay is based in Arizona and focuses on options trading education and is a professor of economics and statistics at a local university.
