Benjamin Wong

Mr. Benjamin Wong is the Head of Transport, Logistics & Industrials at InvestHK, the Hong Kong SAR Government's investment promotion agency. He leads initiatives across commodity trading, the gold ecosystem, mobility, aviation, maritime, energy, logistics, and industrial sectors, and works closely with government bureaux on Hong Kong's gold ecosystem and commodity trading development strategies. Previously, he was seconded to establish the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) under the Financial Secretary's Office to support the attraction of strategic investments to Hong Kong. Prior to joining the Government, he held regional leadership roles with major European and American companies. Mr. Wong holds an MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, bachelor's degrees from the University of Alberta, and has completed Peking University's National Affairs Studies Programme and Fudan University's MBA Exchange Programme. He was named one of the Top 100 Chinese in the Maritime Industry by Beyond Shipping Media in 2020.
