Organic Revenue Growth

Trading Term

Organic revenue growth measures changes in sales from a company’s existing operations. It generally excludes acquisitions, divestitures, and, in many cases, foreign-currency effects. Definitions can vary between companies, making the reconciliation important. Investors may examine whether organic growth comes from higher prices, greater sales volume, new customers, or changes in product mix.
