mNAV (Market-to-Net Asset Value)

Trading Term

Market-to-Net Asset Value, or mNAV, is essentially a valuation metric for tokenized assets, particularly those backed by real-world or on-chain assets. It compares the market price of a token to the net asset value (NAV) of the underlying holdings. Similar to a closed-end fund, mNAV shows whether the token trades at a premium or discount to intrinsic value, helping inform relative valuation analysis.
