About the Dubai Financial Market (DFM)

Launched in 2000, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) is the flagship securities exchange of the Emirate of Dubai and a central pillar of the UAE’s financial landscape. The exchange lists some of the region’s most prominent corporations in sectors such as banking, real estate, transportation, and telecommunications.

As the first exchange in the Middle East to operate fully under Islamic Sharia principles, DFM provides investors with a transparent and well-regulated environment that attracts both regional and international participants.

Market hours are Sunday – Thursday, 10:00 – 15:00 Gulf Standard Time (GMT+4).

  1. Logging in to Portal
  2. Navigating to the User > Settings > Trading Permissions menu item
  3. Selecting Stocks > Add/Edit (or Request)
  4. Selecting United Arab Emirates
  5. Selecting Continue, then OK
