Micro Interest Rate Futures Contracts

Use Interest Rate futures and options to manage exposure to U.S. treasury yields, global money markets, and mortgage-backed securities in a safe, capital-efficient way.

There are two types of smaller-sized interest rate futures: yield futures and micro treasury futures. Yield futures are cash-settled, priced in yield and linked to a specific on-the-run security. Micro Treasury futures are cash-settled, 1/10-size versions of the standard Treasury futures. They are traded on price, track a basket of deliverable securities, and settle to the prices of their respective standard Treasury futures.

Micro Yield Futures Contracts

  • 2-Year Yield futures
Trade one of the most watched points at the short end of the curve, priced in yield.
  • 5-Year Yield futures
An intuitive way to obtain 5-year Treasury exposure. Contracts are priced in yield with a constant BPV for easier spread trading across Yield future tenors.
  • 10-Year Yield futures
Trade one of the most watched points on the curve, priced in yield.
  • 30-Year Yield futures
Priced in yield, obtain exposure to the long end of the curve in Treasury markets with these contracts.

Micro Treasury Futures Contracts

  • Micro 10-year Futures
A smaller version of the Ultra 10-Year futures contract, built for traders to offer greater precision and improved yield curve trading.
  • Micro Ultra Treasury Bond
Achieve 30-year Treasury bond exposure at a fraction of the contract size, making for more accessible trades with pinpoint exposure.
