Dual account applicants (IB LLC/IB-India and IB LLC/IB-Japan) no longer have to fund both accounts. Only one funding deposit notification is required for such dual accounts.
IB-Canada Financial Advisors can now have non-Canadian clients.

High Water Mark configuration details are now included on Advisor Client PDF account applications.
Financial Advisor and Broker clients with multiple accounts must link those account before their Financial Advisor or Broker can create duplicate client accounts for those clients. These clients with multiple accounts can use the Link Existing Account function, available in the Account Administration menu of Account Management.
The Settlement Instruction page in Account Management has been redesigned for ease of use. The New Account Management is currently in limited release.
The enhancements and modifications below are available as of February 2, 2012.
Advisor clients who have multiple accounts can now link those accounts together under a single username and password. Once these accounts are linked, you will be able to access Trader Workstation, WebTrader, MobileTrader, iTWS and Account Management for any of the linked accounts using a single username and password. In addition, market data subscriptions are charged once for linked accounts rather than charged separately for each linked account (market data subscriptions are charged per terminal/computer).
