Authorizers
As a security feature for multi-user accounts, we ask our customers to tell us the number of persons required to authorize the adding of new users, modifying of account user functions, changing of account information, adding settlement instructions, or a request to withdraw funds. This may be 0 to 2 persons, and you can only increase this number. Account Administration users will authorize adding users, modifying functions, and change of account information, while Funds Management users will authorize changing settlement instructions and withdrawals. When adding users, you will be required to add at least one more than the number of authorized users, and it is suggested that you add more users than required to provide for coverage in the case of employee vacations. Customers not wishing to utilize our security feature should keep the default settings of 0 authorized users.
As an example you require 2 withdrawal authorizers. You will be required to add at least 3 funds management users, 1 to enter the withdrawal request, and 2 to jointly authorize the withdrawal request. It is prudent to add at least 4 funds management users so if one of the funds management users is on vacation, you still have 2 users to jointly authorize the withdrawal.
When an Account Administrator adds/modifies users, or a Funds Manager requests a withdrawal, an authorization link will appear at the top of Account Management for every Account Administrator and Funds Manager respectively (with the exception of the requestor). Once the required number of authorizers has confirmed the user or withdrawal request, the request will be submitted and the authorization link will disappear from Account Management from any user where it still remains. Account Administrators may check the status of any outstanding user requests through the User Functions menu and Funds Managers may check the status of any withdrawal request through the Funds Status menu.
