Note on Screen Resolution:

The IB Trader Workstation provides a large amount of information on its trading and other pages. As a result we require that you set your PC to a resolution of 1024x768 or better in order to run this application. Click here to learn how to check and set you display resolution.

The Benefits of High Resolution

Many of the computers sold today have the ability to support very high monitor resolutions. That is to say they can, for example, display pictures with near photographic quality. Surprisingly, manufacturers frequently ship computers capable of a high resolution but, set to operate in a low resolution (inferior quality) mode. You can change the resolution setting yourself in order to get the best quality display from your PC. This will provide the following benefits.

  • Higher quality display of graphics including photographs.
  • The ability to display more material on you desktop.
  • High quality access to the most sophisticated graphics on the web.

Please take a minute to check and possibly upgrade your resolution setting by clicking on the link above. It will allow you to get the best out of the IB system and your PC.
