# IBKR WebAPI

* A new dedicated [*Websocket Reference*](/docs/web-api/ws/introduction) has been added to the documentation.
* Websockets, previously under the /v1 section, has been removed.
* Links to the previous Websockets section have been updated to reflect content of the new [*Websocket Reference*](/docs/web-api/ws/introduction) content.
* The Websocket's [Connection Guide](/docs/web-api/ws/connection-guide) has been updated for a clearer workflow.
* Content has been consolidated, such that subscribing and unsubscribing from a given topic is now contained to the same page. See ["smd"](/docs/web-api/ws/streaming-data#subscribe-to-streaming-market-data) and ["umd"](/docs/web-api/ws/streaming-data#unsubscribe-from-streaming-market-data) message details in the new [Streaming Data](/docs/web-api/ws/streaming-data) page.
