# RTD Basics Tutorial

Many of our most common features, as well as instructions for running the TWS API with Excel RTD, are available in our video tutorial. The video introduces users to configuring the TWS for connecting and launching the RTD application. There is a brief introduction to requesting market data as well as editing the VBA material.
