The Interactive Brokers Recurring Investment feature is available for clients who have fractional shares enabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to note that open recurring investment instructions are not visible on the Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation (TWS) or the IBKR Mobile order screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-set-up-a-recurring-investment\">How to set up a Recurring Investment?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The advisor can launch the Interactive Brokers Recurring investment feature from the menu by expanding the Trade menu and selecting Recurring Investments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once selected, the advisor will see the Recurring Investment screen displaying a grid of the active recurring investments if any are set up. The investor will see the amount, intervals, start date, next occurrence, last trade, and end date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The advisor can select which account or accounts are going to participate in the recurring investment by clicking on the \u2018Select Accounts\u201d button at the top left of the screen. A list of accounts will appear on the right-hand side and the advisor can select by clicking on the circle next to the account. The advisor chooses the interval of the recurring investment in the interval dropdown menu. The advisor can choose<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Daily<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weekly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biweekly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monthly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quarterly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Semi Annually<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Annually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, the advisor can specify an end time frame. When the advisor clicks on the <strong>Modify Investment<\/strong>&nbsp;button, they can edit the end date and amount. Once the changes have been made, the advisor clicks the Continue button and will see the disclosure and trade description page showing the changes. When ready to submit the changes, the advisor should click on the blue&nbsp;<strong>Save Changes<\/strong>&nbsp;button. They will receive a confirmation and can click&nbsp;<strong>Done<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How to cancel a Recurring Investment?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A recurring investment can be cancelled in two different ways. From the Recurring Investment screen, the advisor can click on the&nbsp;<strong>Pencil icon<\/strong>&nbsp;and click on the red&nbsp;<strong>Cancel Investment<\/strong>&nbsp;button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second method of cancelling a recurring investment is for the advisor to click on the&nbsp;<strong>X icon<\/strong>&nbsp;next to the investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In both scenarios, once clicked, the advisor can choose a date that the recurring investment will end or check the&nbsp;<strong>Effective Immediately<\/strong>&nbsp;box. When ready, they click the red&nbsp;<strong>Confirm Cancellation<\/strong>&nbsp;box and will receive a confirmation message that the request has been processed successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-view-the-recurring-investments-history\">How to view the Recurring Investments history?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>An advisor can see the history of their recurring investments by clicking on the clock icon next to the recurring investment.
