The TWAP IB Algo is available for US equities, options, and futures as well as Forex and certain non-US stocks. This TWAP algo is useful if you want to attain the time weighted average price during a specific period. The TWAP allows for specific conditions to be met if the user chooses for the order to trade. We will walk through the input choices during the video.<\/p>\n<p>We will enter a TWAP order using the Mosaic Order Entry Panel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, enter the symbol in the order entry panel and choose Buy or Sell and the trade price.<\/li>\n<li>In the order type drop down box scroll down to IBALGO and choose TWAP.<\/li>\n<li>Once selected the Advanced window will appear and show Algo parameters.<\/li>\n<li>Starting in the top left corner TWAP will be shown in the Algo drop down box.<\/li>\n<li>Continuing to the right select when you would like the order to trade.<\/li>\n<li>Choose from Marketable, Matching Midpoint, Matching Side, or Matching Last.<\/li>\n<li>Next, decide during which time period the order will begin and end.<\/li>\n<li>The end time will supersede the time in force and will stop at the designated time regardless of whether if it is filled or not.<\/li>\n<li>You may allow the order to continue to trade by checking the \u201cAllow trading past end time\u201d box underneath Start Time.<\/li>\n<li>The final input selection is to \u201cTrade when price is more aggressive than\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>This input evaluates buy orders with the bid and sell orders with the ask, if a value is entered the order becomes conditional and will trade when the bid price for a buy or the ask price for a sell is met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12054 lazyload\" data-src=\"\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/TWAP-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"360\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 960px; aspect-ratio: 960\/360;\"><\/p>\n<p>When you have made all the input selections exit out of the Advanced window by clicking on the red x in the upper right-hand corner and click Submit on the Order Entry panel.
