An All-or-None order that works on US stocks and options and must be executed in its entirety or not executed at all. If an order is not executed immediately, it will remain active until it is cancelled or filled. In other words, you may want to sell 1,000 shares at a limit price but not experience a partial fill. Adding the All-or-None attribute seeks to achieve that binary outcome.<\/p>\n<p>You may want to use an All-or-None order if you are not time sensitive on the fill but want to have either your entire ordered filled or nothing filled, hence the name All-or-None.<\/p>\n<p>An All-or-None order can be placed in Mosaic three separate ways.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, enter the symbol in the order entry panel and select SMART routing.<\/li>\n<li>Choose Buy or Sell and select Limit for your order type.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the price you want to set for the order. With the price entered, click on the plus sign next to the \u201cAdvanced\u201d tab.<\/li>\n<li>The pop-up box enables you to add the All-or-None attribute.<\/li>\n<li>Click \u201cSubmit\u201d in the bottom right-hand corner.<\/li>\n<li>The order confirmation window will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Notice that under the order description, \u201cAll or None true\u201d is displayed.<\/li>\n<li>Click transmit and the order will appear in the activity panel below.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11912 lazyload\" data-src=\"\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/All-or-None-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"289\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 960px; aspect-ratio: 960\/289;\"><\/p>\n<p>The second method is to change an existing order to an All-or-None through the orders tab in the activity panel.<\/p>\n<p>If it is not displayed already, you can add the All or None data column to the order tab in the activity panel by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. Adjust the size, order type, and price to the desired settings. Locate the Miscellaneous area. Check the All or None input field.
