In other words, you may want to submit an order for 100,000 shares of stock XYZ but not want the marketplace to see your size, the Hidden order attribute will allow you to maintain anonymity from the outside world.<\/p>\n<p>A Hidden order may be placed in the Mosaic Order Entry Panel in two different ways.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First, enter the symbol in the order entry panel and select SMART routing.<\/li>\n<li>Choose Buy or Sell and select the size.<\/li>\n<li>Now select the order type you want to use in the order type drop down box.<\/li>\n<li>While in there scroll to the bottom and click the box next to Hidden.<\/li>\n<li>Click \u201cSubmit\u201d in the bottom right-hand corner.<\/li>\n<li>The order confirmation window will appear.<\/li>\n<li>Notice that under the order description it will show, \u201cHidden true\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Click transmit and the order will appear in the activity panel below.<\/li>\n<li>If it is not tradeable at the time of submission you will see a blue arrow next to it indicating, it is being held and monitored.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-11909 lazyload\" data-src=\"\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2023\/01\/Hidden-Orders-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"541\" height=\"506\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 541px; aspect-ratio: 541\/506;\"><\/p>\n<p>The second method is to create your order in the Order Entry Panel and then click on the \u201cAdvanced\u201d button located to the right of the Time in Force.<\/p>\n<p>Once the Advance drop down box appears click on the second box from the left, next to destination. This is the display size drop down.<\/p>\n<p>Scroll down to the bottom and select \u201cHidden\u201d. The box will now show \u201cHidden\u201d in it. Exit out of the Advanced area by clicking on the red x in the top right of the box.
