Every rally since 2021 died at the same spot. This week it finally broke through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is the kind of move that gets our attention, because a level that rejects a stock over and over for four years is not random. It is real supply, real sellers, and clearing it means those sellers are finally gone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And US Bancorp is not doing it alone. Financials are putting in some of the best relative strength in the market right now, which just means they are outperforming the broader market, holding up better on the down days and pushing harder on the up days. Banks led it first. That level capped every rally attempt since 2021. Price is now clearing a key former resistance level marked by the 61.8% retracement of the 2014 to 2020 decline. That retracement level is a spot chart readers watch closely, because reclaiming it signals a real trend change rather than just a bounce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As long as IVZ holds 28, we like it long here, with a first target back at the old highs around 42.
