The 1.8% year-over-year (y\/y) reading from March is projected to have risen to 2% in April, according to median prediction of the 12 forecasters surveyed in the monthly Reuters poll. Meanwhile, the minimum and maximum projections are 1.8% and 2.3%. But a lift here makes sense, and I don\u2019t agree with economists that believes we are in for an unchanged figure, as we have been experiencing a consistent theme around the world of the energy shock broadening to general goods and services. For this reason, I find the \u201cYeses\u201d at 1.4%, 1.6% and 1.8% to be potentially undervalued, since the path to a flat 1.8% statistic is very narrow, in my opinion. Those contracts are priced at $0.93, $0.82 and $0.53.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1013\" height=\"562\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.interactivebrokers.com\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/image-67.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-243348 lazyload\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/ibkrcampus.com\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/image-67.png 1013w, https:\/\/ibkrcampus.com\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/image-67-700x388.png 700w, https:\/\/ibkrcampus.com\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/image-67-300x166.png 300w, https:\/\/ibkrcampus.com\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/image-67-768x426.png 768w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 1013px) 100vw, 1013px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 1013px; aspect-ratio: 1013\/562;\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-consider-gdp-yes-at-3-9\"><strong>Consider GDP \u201cYes\u201d at 3.9%<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s little reason to believe that Singapore\u2019s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth will be downgraded from 5.1% to 3.9%, as that would mark a sizeable 1.2 percentage point reduction. Historically, the absolute changes between the preliminary and final prints shift by median and average amounts of 0.3 and 0.6 percentage points. Against that backdrop, the 3.9% \u201cYes\u201d at $0.85 is undervalued, in my opinion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1007\" height=\"547\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.interactivebrokers.com\/campus\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/05\/image-68.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-243349 lazyload\"
