President Trump\u2019s recent comments concerning his ambitions to acquire Greenland are raising the probability of it becoming part of the US in our prediction market. The 8% chance on Jan. 2, just five days ago, leaped to as high as 29%<\/a> today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WEI Has Exceeded 2.2% For 5 Straight Weeks<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Dallas Fed\u2019s Weekly Economic Index has exceeded 2.2% for 5 consecutive weeks and chances are in my opinion, that it\u2019ll come in above that statistic again in tomorrow\u2019s report. The \u201cYes\u201d<\/a> at the 2.2% level is undervalued at just $0.50 in my view, especially in consideration of recent economic data pointing to reaccelerating conditions. Additionally, the \u201cYes\u201d at 2% is also attractive at $0.81, since it\u2019s a result that the indicator has only failed to exceed a handful of times in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expecting Initial Claims Around 210K<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Initial claims tend to be volatile near the holidays and Wall Street and our market alike are expecting a number near 210k. Indeed, there\u2019s a 64%<\/a> chance of a result above 210k, but just a 16% likelihood of a print failing to arrive north of 200k and 24% odds of a statistic coming in ahead of 220k.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
