See how price improvement, lower cost, innovative technology and real-time risk management make Interactive Brokers the smart choice for options traders.

Price Improvement
  • Based on independent measurements, the Transaction Auditing Group, Inc., (TAG), a third-party provider of transaction analysis, has determined that Interactive Brokers US Options Price Improvement is 22 cents per contract better than the industry1 during the first half of 2009.
  • IB SmartRoutingSM searches for the best price available at the time of your order, and unlike other routers, dynamically routes and re-routes all or parts of your order to achieve optimal execution.
  • To achieve price improvement on spread orders, IB may natively route the combination, or independently route legs to the best possible venue, with IB undertaking the risk of partially executed orders.
Lower Costs
  • $0.15 - $0.70 commission per US options contract. No extra ticket charges, $1 minimum per order. Non-US commissions at comparable rates.
Premier Technology and Risk Management
  • In the case of an exchange malfunction, IB SmartRouting AutorecoverySM re-routes your US options orders, with IB undertaking the risk of double executions.
  • IB supports over 40 different order types that limit risk, speed execution, improve price, provide discretion, time the market and simplify trading.
  • Trade in terms of volatility instead of price using TWS VolTrader.
  • OptionTrader provides streaming option chains, quick-click order transmission and the Greeks.
  • IB Risk NavigatorSM provides sophisticated real-time price/risk analytics, unifying exposure across multiple asset classes around the globe.
  • Use the Model Navigator for interactive options pricing. Modify volatility, interest rates and other pricing assumptions for use in the model price calculation.
