Delivery Settings

The Delivery Settings page lets you set up notification preferences for Activity Statements and Daily Trade Reports, and your preferred method for your customized Activity Statements, Activity Flex Queries and Trade Confirmation Flex Queries. You will only see Activity Statement Flex and/or Trade Confirmation Flex sections of the page if you have created Flex queries. Non-disclosed Broker Masters can also specify delivery settings for client statements.

Who Can Access the Delivery Settings Page?

To enter notification and delivery settings

  1. Click Report Management in the left pane, then click Delivery Settings.
  2. Set your Activity Statement and Trade Confirmation report notification preferences:

  1. Select your preferred delivery method and enable delivery for each customized statement and/or Flex Query that you have created. Note that if you have not created any customized statements or Flex Queries, these sections do not appear on the Delivery Settings page.

Note:  You must request FTP delivery and Encryption to enable those options. Contact your IB Sales Representative to make these requests.

Note:  Although email and FTP delivery methods are available, IB recommends that Advisors and Brokers choose FTP as their delivery method for customized statements with ALL accounts selected on the Activity Statements page. Advisors and Brokers who select email as the delivery method for customized statements with ALL accounts selected, you will get an emailed statements for each client or subaccount.

  1. If you are a Broker Master with non-disclosed clients, specify delivery settings for your client accounts in the  Statement Delivery section:


  1. Enable SMS (Short Message Service) to receive alerts on your mobile telephone. This option is only available if you have set up a valid SMS address on the Alert Notification page in the Trading Access menu.

  1. Click Submit.
