Viewing Bank Instructions

The Bank Instructions tab displays all requests to add new bank instructions.

To view bank instructions

  1. Click Funds Management in the left pane, then click View Transaction History.
  2. If the Secure Login System page opens, this means that your account is enrolled in the Secure Login System and you must use your security device or temporary password to log into the Funds Status page.
  3. If you have a master account, in the Client/Sub Account Selection area, use the radio buttons to search for client or sub accounts by Account ID, Account Title or Account Alias, then click the client or sub account whose transaction history you want to view.
  4. Click the Bank Instructions tab.

The Bank Instructions tab displays the following information for each bank instruction created within the past 90 days:

Column Description
Date The date the bank instruction was confirmed.
Function

The type of bank instruction. Can be one of the following:

  • Wire Instruction Change
  • ACH Instruction Change
Transaction Method

Can be one of the following transaction methods:

  • BANK - For Wire Instructions only.
  • CREDIT - Used to withdraw funds from IB.
  • DEBIT/CREDIT - Used to receive and send funds from/to your bank via instructions you provide to IB. These transactions are initiated by IB.
Nickname The user-defined name assigned to this bank instruction.
Institution The name of the bank or financial institution.
Current Status

The current status of the bank instruction. Can be one of the following:

  • Approved - The request to add, change or delete the bank instruction has been confirmed.
  • Pending Confirmation - A confirmation is required, or ACH test transactions are pending.
  • Expired - The bank instruction request has expired.
Cancel Transaction You can cancel transactions that have a Current Status of Pending Receipt by clicking the X button in this column.
