In
yet another first for the trading industry, Interactive Brokers
introduces the opportunity to trade options in pennies. Penny priced options are now available for a handful of underlyings under an SEC mandated pilot program, but since October 2006 Interactive Brokers has been allowing its customers to enter orders for All (CBOE, BOX, ISE) Equity Options in Penny Increments. Rather than entering
options orders in nickels or dimes, customers and liquidity providers may post
bid
and
offer
prices
in
pennies, and others may attempt to trade on the prices posted on the IB system.
Option prices that improve the NBBO are posted on our website unless a customer
chooses
not to display their quotes. Click
here for further information about the penny pricing system.
